Carolina Custom Restoration is a family owned and locally operated mobile marine restoration company in Charleston, SC. Owner, Luke Valleza, began his career in the marine industry in 1978 working for Blue Water Boats in Woodinville, WA, fabricating molds and parts in the construction of the Ingrid 38'. Luke was a significant part of the crew who worked on the original model 26' Nordic Tug designed by Jerry Husted and Lynn Senour and later made the mold for the 42 foot model. Luke would continue working with Beck Boats, Bayliner, White Wing Yachts and Sundowner Tugs gaining a great deal of experience and knowledge in the fiberglass construction and fabrication process. Over the next 30 years he would expand his experience to include hull extensions, refitting, painting, gelcoat matching and custom part fabrication using fiberglass, carbon fiber and kevlar.
